When people hear the term serial killer, they don’t often think of Japan. Japan is mostly known around the world as the place that houses delicious food like sushi and tempura, beautiful landscapes like Mt. Fuji, or traditional culture like temples, shrines, sumo, and kimono.
In pop culture, Japan has kawaii Harajuku fashions, cool anime and manga, as well as idols pop groups, funny game shows, and of course, Hello Kitty. But there is also a dark side to Japan. And living here, learning the language, and seeing deeper into the society, there are some very strange and evil crimes that have occurred in Japan over the years.
